Welcome Brenda and I would like to share a little of Brenberry history
Chilling at home
Myself and Brenda have lived with dogs since we were married in 1977, In 1985 we had our first german shepherd Sabre , Who we took over ownership from my sister as she could not cope with him.
Brenda, who till them had not trusted german shepherds fell in love with Sabre's sweet nature,
Our next german shepherd was Della, But she became ill with a liver problem and passed away at 6 months.
We next had Arizona Belle ( Bella), She was bought as a pet but after being told by so many people to show her we did, and at her first show she won best of breed and third in group .
This was inspite of the handler ( ME ).
As you can imagine this gave us the showing bug. We continued to show Bella with some success in open shows and also were ' in the cards' at a number of championship breed shows.
A few years later we met Jimmy and Bubbles from Peterwell kennels, and Jimmy advised us to obtain Abbie from Albert Balmer in Ireland, she has become the foundation of the Brenberry Line, and has produced several show winning dogs.
All the dogs that have been hip scored have returned very low hip scores, and have very good temprement.
ARIZONA BELLE
Five of Abbie's puppies are having some success in the show ring at present and have we regular contact with several of the owners of the puppies we have bred and enjoy receiving upto-date photographs and news.
Axelia who is now an adult achieved a reserve C.C at the breed 2 day show as a puppy and also a major green star and two reserve green star with several championship show wins and best of breed wins and was also 2nd in her class at CRUFTS 2006.
Battista 3 years has had serveral championship show wins also best puppy and best of breed wins and was 1st in her class at CRUFTS 2007
